You've all heard of the huge craze called the "Harlem Shake" right? If you haven't...SERIOUSLY??? Here's an insight to what it is as per Wikipedia:

The videos last between 30 and 32 seconds and feature part of the song "Harlem Shake" by electronic musician Baauer. Usually, a video begins with one person (often helmeted or masked) dancing to the song alone for 15 seconds, surrounded by other people not paying attention or unaware of the dancing individual. When the bass drops, the video cuts to the entire crowd doing a crazy convulsive dance for the next 15 seconds. The dancing style should not be confused with the original Harlem Shake dance.Additionally, in the second half of the video, people often wear a minimum of clothes or crazy outfits or costumes while wielding strange props.

The company I work for decided to take part in this mania and I can honestly say that I work with the coolest cats! I just wish I wasn't on maternity leave so I could've been a part of it :(

I was given a stunning dress by Sheinside which to my dismay did not fit over my bulging baby belly :(
Therefore I asked my friend Talia to model the dress for me on my blog and she jumped with excitement to the occasion. This dress was made for her! The pictures turned out fantastic with the beautiful high low chiffon dress, incredibly affordable, blowing in the wind. It helps when you have gams & a glowing tan like Talia.

Yesterday my family and I spent the afternoon at Mont Tremblant, Quebec's #1 ski resort. It was perfect weather to just walk around and enjoy the scenery, stuff myself full of sugar...oh yeah, and take a few outfit shots :)

Some friends and I went out for an early Halloween celebration Saturday night because I'm an old fart and am not able to party on Monday night and be able to live unzombie like on Tuesday. Could when I was younger but I'm no spring chicken anymore. Why are we so boring without costumes and just some basic masks you ask? Well, plain and simple...we made a last minute decision to dress up and no time to whip up something cool.
The best costume I saw all night...'Odile' the black swan. Her costume was all hand made and she had a killer body to boot.

Now I have two questions for all of you.
1. What was the best costume you saw this Halloween?
2. Why do girls feel the need to dress up all slutty on Halloween?

Saturday night was spent with friends, laughter, and great food at Macaroni Bar. I've eaten gnocchi's at every restaurant that has them on the menu, including places in Italy which you would think would have the best pasta and Macaroni Bar has by far the best gnocchi's ever!!! They melt in your mouth like cotton candy. Yum!
I tried my best to take great outfit shots but with no flash and the fact that it was 1:30am made it impossible.

I just had to share this with you guys.
My two friends have just started their blog Believe.Commit.Receive. They will be documenting their journey to a leaner, healthier lifestyle by sharing with their readers their goal weight and what they are doing to achieve it.
One of them is a previous fitness model (and you guys will freak out at her before pic, cause I sure did) and the other being a previous McDonalds addict.
These girls are determined to get into shape and I'm now obsessed with watching their progress.

What a perfect way to end a perfect long weekend. Marshmallows roasted on an open fire, beautiful warm breezy weater, spent with amazing friends! I love evenings like these :) Even Duke joined in on the fun...but sorry buddy, no marshmallows for you.
I also suggest we start a petition for 3 day weekends all the time. I got so much done, I'm not as stressed, and I got to spend 3 full days out of 7 with my family and friends. 3 instead of 2...is that too much to ask??? sheesh!
