Horizontal stripes

6.30.2010

Do I look fat? lol
I'm only asking because everyone says that vertical stripes make you appear thinner as opposed to horizontal stripes. Well, I just read an article that begs to differ.
Check it out here if anyone is interested. In my opinion, it's a test I will have to do on myself and compare the two before I believe it.

Ooo getting more creative with your shoots ;) Love it. I don't know sometimes I do feel like the stripes make me heavier then I am, I think it depends on the article of clothing and how wide or thick the stripes are.

As far as I am concerned, I believe that neither vertical stripes or horizontal stripes make you fatter ! It's just the way you wear it that may change the way other people look at you ! However, you are wearing them really good !

Keep it like that, you're great :)

Love the ouftits! I am a big fan of stripes and don't really feel that they make people look heavier, but yes, it definitely depends on the article of clothing and how snug it is.

And regardless of wearing horizontal stripes, your body looks great and toned :D I still can't tell that you're pregnant!:)

How's the baby doing btw? When's the next ultrasound? I hope Andrew will be able to make it for the next one ;)

ps. Yeah, I have a funny accent:P

Lena,

I usually don't comment on your posts. But this time it's different. The stripes and all are great. The outfit is great in general too. The stripes work here b/c of the color combination of that pale and beige I think. All in all, well put together outfit that is chic.

Not at all!
I think if a person isn't fat horizontal stripes won't make (s)he fat. But I believe the shape of the cloths is what gives the illusion, the most, of that person being fatter or thinner!
