Never thought it would be this hard

5.28.2010

I never realized how difficult it would be to achieve looking good in a stylish outfit while you're pregnant. I'm so fed up of wearing a-line tops all the time. I'm at a point where I just look like I have a beer gut when wearing tight fitting tops. I was hoping to go through my entire pregnancy without having to wear maternity clothes...but I think that's one goal I will never accomplish.

How many months are you? Perhaps you can draw inspiration from Kourtney Kardashian? She was one of the cutest trendy pregnant ladies!

A-line or no a-line, you look darling. Bubble tops perhaps?

It gets worse as the belly grows, trust me but the trends going now can be very appropriate for pregnancy. And seem to be doing very well you great. Rub the belly for me.

You look great in any case!
It's just the phase right now, when you don't really look pregnant but look like you have a beer belly (I remember), but it will pass. You just have to get used to it, to the fact that your body changes. You'll get there soon!

Gosh, Duke is waaayyy too adorable, especially in the 2nd picture <3

I love wearing A-line tops, so I guess I won't have a problem with dressing myself up when I'm pregnant :) But you look good, Lena! I can definitely see the "glow"! maybe you can try wearing empire-waist/baby-doll style dresses? :)

Have a great weekend!!!

Don't worry, pregnancy will be over in no time. I gave birth 3 months ago and let me tell you - time is flying.
As for myself I own many slouchy, big tees so I didn't spend a lot on maternity clothes.
The only thing you may be suffering is the hot weather during summer.
Anyways my suggestion are big tees, tunicas or mens shirts and leggings, with a funky leather sandals.

I must say that you are rocking the A-Lines though.

Also, one thing I love about your style is you manage to go into the cheaper, teenybopper stores like Ardene's & Sirens and come out with a classy, expensive looking outfit.
