touch of leather

Just received this gorgeous coat from Sheinside. The quilted contrast leather sleeve is just perfect. I was very badly due for a coat of this nature in my wardrobe.
On a side note, I've always been in love with these studded shoes from Valentino. What I didn't love was the price :( But, I came across these old t-strap flats in my closet which are kind of similar. All they need is a little DIY TLC! To be continued...

Seen everywhere on the runways for Spring 2013...Acne, Marc Jacobs, Dolce Gabbana, Jonathan Saunders, Moschino, to name a few. Wide and narrow, vertical and horizontal, and all different colours...this is a trend to note for 2013. 

The most popular is the edgy, bold, wide black and white stripe. Ladies take note...vertical stripes make you look long and lean :)

Thinner stripes are more subtle and classic.

And the ever so fun and funky, coloured stripes.

Stripes don't end at clothing however, incorporate them into your home as well with wallpaper, throws, rugs, furniture, pillows, and the list just goes on and on. 
Stripes are here to stay!
