lady in red

9.09.2013

After searching high and low with no luck for a drop waist mini dress or a mini dress with a flounce skirt for an upcoming wedding I had, I decided to get a hold of my seamstress. I had a vision and was not going to stop until it came to life. With one and half weeks to go to the big day, she made my design happen. The results are beautiful and exactly what I wanted.
I seriously need to learn how to make patterns and update my sewing skills so I can avoid bothering others. So many creations in my head that need to be executed!

dress: my own design - find similar here or here
shoes: GoJane (old) - find similar here

@Olivia Law: I would've wanted it in white but could never white to a wedding if I'm not the bride.
Thanks :)

The dress turned out beautifully! Nice design, Lena. Where did you get the fabric from?

Lena Antonacci said...

@A.Co: Thank you! I purchased the fabric at Fabricville. It's Ponte de Roma fabric from their Fall 2013 collection.
