Life is an endless struggle full of frustrations and challenges, but eventually you find a hair stylist you like.

Women: don't try to understand us, you never will :)
Anyway, I have received a few requests about my hair. Where I get it done, what color do I do, how do I cut it, etc. Therefore I decided to take a few pics of my hair before treatment, during treatment and after. I also asked my hairdresser a few questions:
- My base color, which I leave natural, is a medium brown level 6.
- She then gives me highlights with mild bleach. I alternate with my highlights. This time I highlighted my whole head and in 3 months I will only highlight half my head (top and bottom so that you can see highlightes when I tie up my hair). And so forth.
- After about 15-20 minutes, she rinses out the bleach with just water, no shampoo.
- While my hair is still wet from rinsing out and I'm still sitting at the sink, she then applies a color all over my head making sure she touches all my bleached highlights. The color is a golden/ash blonde level 7-8. She makes her own mix as golden and ash are two different colors.
- This color stays on my hair for about 10 minutes if not less.
- She then washes it out with shampoo & conditioner. And you're now ready for the haircut.
- She based my haircut on a picture I gave her of Taylor Momsen. I love the thick side swept bangs.
And there you have it. Lena's hair in detail. Hope you all like it, I know I do!
For those of you who live in the Montreal/Laval area, here is the salon's info and my hairdresser is Tanya:

Sorry for the blurry pics. I didn't want to bring my good camera to the salon.
This is my before picture.
Starting my highlights.
My highlights are complete and I'm off to the sink to rinse. I did not take pictures at the sink..I was too busy enjoying the massage :)
End result and better camera...lol
