As I was getting dressed today, I said to myself, "Tartan is a big trend right now. Is plaid a trend? What is the difference between plaid and tartan?" So naturally, I googled it. After a few websites of blah blah blah's and yadda yadda yadda's, I came to the conclusion of...huh? To me, it basically means the same thing. Does anyone oppose?

In any case, here's my plaid/tartan outfit :)

Does it ever happen to you that you're trying to find something to wear and just when you've come to the point of major impulse online purchase mode, you find an item you completely forgot about hanging there still with the tags on? Just happened to me today and let me tell you, it's just as stimulating as discovering money in the couch. Unless the money is mine to begin with, in that case finding the new clothing is better :)
This studded skull sweater was the hidden treasure. Just the right piece to add spunk to my outfit.

This weeks chosen trend is STRIPES.
Seen everywhere on the runways for Spring 2013...Acne, Marc Jacobs, Dolce Gabbana, Jonathan Saunders, Moschino, to name a few. Wide and narrow, vertical and horizontal, and all different colours...this is a trend to note for 2013.

Friday Fashion Feature

Sneakers aren't just affiliated with sports anymore. They are now a fashion staple. Everyone and anyone has a pair of sneakers or two in their closet. From wedge sneakers to leopard print, worn with jeans or dresses, this is by far one of the best trends to have come about. Women's feet everywhere can rejoice for we no longer have to suffer in pain teetering on our 5 inch, toe cleavage, bunion giving platforms. Well at least not 7 days a week anyways. (No woman can give up her heels!)
