I do my best to post every day however when you have such beautiful weather, very unexpected for April, you try your best to suck it all in just in case it turns on you.
Andrew and I went for supper Friday evening to a Tapas restaurant called NueVo Supperclub. For those who don't know what Tapas is, it's the name of a wide variety of appetizers in Spanish cuisine.
This menu consists of Spanish, fusion & international cuisine. We ate an array of foods we've never tasted before and they were quite delicious. Andrew's usually not a big fan of tasting new foods, but anything can happen when you complete en entire bottle of wine amongst the two of you.
We had a great time and made a promise to ourselves to try a new restaurant the first Saturday of every month. Hope this promise wasn't the wine talking...lol

Simple Crepes

Doesn't it feel great to wake up on a Friday morning knowing that you're not going into work that day! And to make the morning even sweeter is waking up and having your breakfast already prepared and served to you.
It was our 6 year anniversary yesterday from the day Andrew and I decided to date officially. Seeing as it was a work day Andrew had great plans for me this morning as we're off for Good Friday. He woke up earlier than I and surprised me with this delicious breakfast. Chocolate, strawberries, and I didn't have to cook it myself...doesn't get any better than this. The sweetheart even took pictures for me of the process in order for me to post about it. What a doll!

Ingredients
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs.
- Gradually add in the milk & water, stirring to combine.
- Add the salt and butter, beat until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium/high heat. Pour or scoop the batter into the pan. (You can make 2 large crepes as per our picture by splitting the batter in half. Or 8 crepes by using 1/4 cup per crepe.)
- Tilt the pan in a circular motion in order to coat the bottom of the pan evenly with the batter.
- Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes or until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula and flip to cook the other side the same way.
- Once it's cooked, you can add the strawberries or fruit of your choice with chocolate syrup or Nutella and warm slightly. Serve hot.
- You can garnish with powdered sugar as our picture and you can also add any of your favorite toppings like whipped cream, ice cream, english cream, etc.

Gentle Peel

A few weeks ago I went to purchase a new jar of Clarins Multi Active Day Early Wrinkle Correction as my old one had finished. I am going to be 33 years old and my wrinkles are not entirely bad so this cream must be working.
Anyway, as I was at the cash register, the saleslady offered me a sample of Clarins Gentle Peeling Exfoliator which I tried for the first time last night. Man oh man, did my skin ever feel smooth and brand new afterwards. You apply this over your face and neck and leave on for 1 minute. You then gently rub it off and I swear all my dead skin came off with it. Great product, strongly recommended!

We bow down to the big wedge
Normally these shoes would stay in my closet until summertime however seeing as the whole exposed socks trend is so in right now, these babies came out earlier than usual. YEAH!!!!
