Christmas come early!!!

YEAH!!!!! I received 2 beautiful surprises yesterday...my new UGG boots (just in time for the snow) and hot pink Miu Miu clutch. All thanks to my friends Amy & Monica. I cannot thank you girls enough for the stunning gifts that I love so much!

I wore my boots for the first time at 6:30am this morning for my walk with the dog and let me tell you that my toes were toasty warm. Perfect boots for the harsh Canadian weather.

I wore the clutch for my pictures this morning and cannot wait for the Holiday parties to introduce her to the world.

Lindsay - Hot or not?

I just got my eyes on the photo spread of Lindsay Lohan's threesome shoot in Muse Magazine and despite all the controversy out there...I love them! I think she's incredibly sexy and only wish I looked like this at 23 years of age...or even now for that matter. I say if you've got it, flaunt it...GO LOHAN!

P.S. Here are pics of my outfit today. Very bland compared to Lindsay's above :( Montreal has it's very first big snowfall today which began at around 8am this morning. We are expecting 20-30cms of snow...who in the world feels like dressing up??

The Braid

Sleek, tousled, french, up-high, down-low, etc. The versatile braid. I've seen a few girls around with it and decided to try it today. My hair is super long, almost down to my butt (as I haven't cut my hair in 5 months - not my choice). Anyway, despite the length of my hair, my braid seemed short and stumpy. My extensions would've definitely come in handy to get the look I was trying to achieve. Will try it again properly when I have more time.

Maxi Skirt

So I decided to Fall-ize my Summer wardrobe by trying the Maxi Skirt trend. The skirt is actually a tube dress that I bought at Target this past summer. I've worn it as a skirt in order for it to not seem short due to the fact that I'm wearing heels as opposed to flat sandals which I would normally wear with this dress. I actually love it and can't believe I haven't thought of this earlier. So many tops I can wear this with...I can't wait to play dress up in my closet.

This skirt is actually the only thing making me happy today. Andrew just left on a business trip for 2 weeks. I'm so depressed! 6 years we're together and I still cry when he leaves :(
