Wishlist come true!!!!

Andrew is seriously too good to me! I had one item on my wishlist this year, which you can see in an earlier post. A DSLR camera.

Andrew as most of you know works as a buyer for Aldo, hence the 91 pairs of shoes in my closet. His job requires a lot of travelling, so his Aeroplan points accumulate very quickly. I also feel that those points are just as much mine as they are his as I have to suffer to be without him while he's away :) Anyway, he told me to check out the Aeroplan catalogue to see if there's any cameras for me that I can get with his/our points. Lo and behold there she was...Nikon D3000. Am able to get the camera and still have points left over.

P.S. My outfit of the day. Had a whole different outfit planned however when I woke up this morning and saw that it was SNOWING...plans changed. Am happy though because I was able to wear my new boots. I can't believe I bought these at Sirens for only $40. I'm not really a frequent shopper at their stores but walked in to look for a bustier because I figured they'd be the only ones to have that and I walked out with 2 blazers and these boots...no bustier. Great collection, very impressed! Don't expect quality though :)

Bond

Has anyone ever worn sequin leggings? Not the most comfortable fabric that my legs have met. However, they look great and I love them. Ahhh, women!!!

Andrew and I enjoyed ourselves last night with a few good friends. We all got together at Bond, a trendy lounge/grill. Food was really delicious however the service was incredibly slow. Thank god we had great people around us with interesting conversation that kept the wait bearable.

Picnik

I was speaking to Kristania from monochromachic and she had never heard of the website called Picnik. I thought everyone in the blogosphere had heard of this site as I am always the last to know about everything. It's the coolest photo editing site around. Amateur photoshop for free!!!!! I find it fun and extremely easy to use. I very quickly became addicted and started tweaking every single picture I had stored in my computer. I've become so obsessed that I'm thinking of upgrading to the premium package for only a mere $24.95/year.

You should all take a look and have some photo fun!!!

The Fame Monster

The same day that I purchased the 5$ top from Walmart (check out yesterday's post), I also picked up the new Lady Gaga CD, The Fame Monster. I finally completed hearing the first CD last night, as there are two, and I must say that I am not at all impressed. Bad Romance is by far the best track and the others don't come close to being an equally great chart topper. Maybe I have to listen to it a few more times to get used to it and then my opinion will change but for the most part I'm a little disappointed. I remember when I bought her last CD The Fame, I nearly wore it out from listening to it so much which I still do to this day. I loved every song from the moment I heard them. Ah well, maybe she's not the new Madonna like people or Kanye seems to think she is.

Have you guys listened to the Monster yet? What are your opinions?
