Balmain

11.20.2009

Balmain continues to be as strong as their shoulders going into Spring 2010.
Christophe Decarnin, the creative mastermind for the House of Balmain and that's him in my last photo, has once again knocked me off of my feet with the phenomenal collection. Powerful shoulders, shredded pieces, military wave, etc.
Just wish it was within my budget. Ah well, will wait for the commercial retailers to knock it off :)

Am I getting old???

11.18.2009

My 9-5 job consists of 6 of those 8 hours sitting at my desk on the computer e-mailing suppliers and confirming samples, etc.
Today on the other hand, I spent 6 of those 8 hours on my feet setting up a newly renovated store for their opening on Friday which is why the casual outfit on a Wednesday. OOOFFFFFFFFF!!! So exhausting. Boxes and boxes of millions of accessories to place on tables and pegs. I am completely beat. I could've done without my regular boxing boot camp class right afterwards :((  What was I thinking. My body will hate me tomorrow!

Bad Romance

11.17.2009

I finally saw the Lady Gaga "Bad Romance" video this past weekend and my eyes were just glued to the screen the entire time. I was hypnotized by the first-class, grade A thoughts and ideas put into it.
The imagination and creativity behind this video is completely outstanding. Not to mention that the song is friggin amazing. She outdoes herself everytime.
Could she be the new Madonna?
Has she already taken over the title "Queen of Pop"?
Let me know your opinions and for those of you who haven't seen the video already...ENJOY!!

Fast Fruity Delight

11.14.2009

Just so you all know, I am not the greatest cook in the kitchen. Passion and lack thereof is the main reason as to why my meals just never turn out scrumptious. However, baking and desserts...second nature to me. So you can imagine how ecstatic I was to land upon the Kraft Foods website flooded with delicious and easy to follow recipes. It consists of more than just desserts yet it's the sweets that I'm attracted to.
This past week I tried this budget friendly recipe that took 10 minutes to prepare and 50 seconds to devour. My hubby, who unlike me is not a fan of sugar, also loved it!
For all you sweet tooth's out there, this dessert should be added to your recipe box.
Enjoy!

P.S. I added a little whip cream on top before serving.
