Yesterday was our 20 week ultrasound. Baby is great and kicking up a storm. I'm also healthy and doing well. I've gained 12lbs so far and still working out 3 times a week. No maternity clothes just yet :)
I know you guys are probably thinking "blah blah blah...what's the sex?". So for the big reveal...

My sister and her new husband, they got married this past September, hosted Christmas Eve dinner at their new home for the first time as husband and wife. I wanted to give them something to celebrate and what better gift than a beautiful Christmas tree ornament that they will cherish every year. I came across this blogpost and couldn't have found a more perfect idea. Their wedding invitation cut into quarter inch strips and then rolled on a pencil. Stuffed into an empty Christmas glass ornament and voila, a keepsake that they will have for many more Christmas's to come.

Just to follow-up, my ballet classes are going great. I think I've improved tremendously since the first day I started this past summer. Things I need to work on...grand jete's & deboule's...I suck at them and it's frustrating! Any ballerina's out there have any pointers for me?
Here's a pic from tonight's class. When I first started this summer, I could barely straighten my leg to the front. Hopefully by the end of this session i'll be able to lift it straight up.

I'm intrigued by gorgeous women with half sleeve tattoos. I would love to get one but not sure it would suit me. And if there's any pictures that would talk me out of it, it surely ain't these ones. Carolin Loosen is absolutely gorgeous.

I don't know about you but after almost 2 years of having my DSLR, I am still shooting in auto mode. I KNOW, I KNOW....KILL ME NOW!!!
I've never taken photography courses and wouldn't even know where to begin on taking good pictures in all situations. So after doing some research, I found this cheat sheet that I will print, laminate, and keep in my camera bag :)

So yesterday marked the end of my ballet summer session. I learned so much and I gotta admit that despite doing classes only once a week for 90 minutes, my legs feel and look leaner. I enjoyed myself so much that I enrolled myself in the fall/winter session which begins Sept. 12th :) Not only that, my teacher said that I was ready for pointe therefore I will also be taking private pointe lessons aside from my regular classical ballet classes.
You are never too old to follow your dreams!!!

I finally went to get my hair done this weekend. Cut is fairly similar, just got a trim and added and extra layer. Colour: darker. I was getting really tired of my outdated highlights.
Which do you prefer...the before or the after and why? You can be honest, I'm a tough cookie :)

I'm not sure why, maybe it's the cool summer night and the starry sky, but I'm suddenly in the mood to go camping. Roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, sitting by the campfire telling ghost stories, cozying up with your honey in 1 sleeping bag listening to the crackling fire. ahhhh, so tranquil. Gotta plan one with my friends for the summer.
