I went to LA with a shopping list. A short list but a necessary list. I needed a leather jacket from All Saints and I needed a specific pair of Adidas sneakers. I found both...SUCCESS! The All Saints jacket feels like butter and fits like a glove. A classic piece that'll be in my wardrobe for years to come. The sneakers are just uber cool and comfortable. I can wear them for days on end.
Don't you just love finding exactly what you're looking for?
I am now currently on the hunt for the Nike Cortex leather sneakers from the movie "Forrest Gump". I will not stop until I get them.
What is an item on your wish list that you will do anything to have?

Spring/Summer trend...floral print! No surprise there right? However this season it's paired with an incredibly popular style, the bomber jacket. Floral bomber jackets are going to be the jacket to be seen in this Spring. It's a perfect way to get your print on print action going by wearing it with jeans and a striped tee.

Winter = sweater weather
They are indispensable pieces in a women's wardrobe when the weather starts to cool down.
Here's a compilation of my must-have sweaters for this winter.
What's yours?


Printed sweaters: The ever so popular leopard print and stripe. However this season you can add the trendy tartan that's been seen everywhere and of course winter is not winter without fair isle.
ASOS Pull&Bear, ASOS Mango, Boohoo, Forever 21

Basics: A high collar is usually the most coziest, at least here in Montreal. And for me, the more oversize, the better.
Persunmall, Oasap, Sheinside, Zara

The grey sweatshirt: Wear it at home, wear it to the gym, wear it with jeans, or even wear it for a night on the town with a skirt and a bold necklace. This is actually a must-have for all seasons due to it's versatility and classic look.

summer outfit under $100

You have a mortgage. Rent is due. You need groceries. Can't live without utilities. Car payment. Gas (and we all know that's not cheap)! Bills! BILLS!! And as our parents used to say, and yes now I say it too..."Money does not grow on trees". Actually it does, it's paper. *cue crickets chirping*
I run a fashion blog however my priorities are my family and my home and last comes clothing. Which is why spending the budget I have set for the month on 1 piece absolutely doesn't make any sense to me. I need to stretch my dollar to the flat out maximum. 
With that being said, here's an ideal summer outfit for under $100!
Rompers are always big during summertime. They're easy to wear and super comfy. A denim vest is good all year round. A cool layering piece. A must-have in your closet. Flat sandals with a metallic touch that gives them that extra oomph. And a bright red bag, with trendy stripes none the less, to give your outfit a nice pop.

wishlist for the season

I've been on maternity leave for 8 months now and shopping hasn't really been that much of a priority....until now! The weather is getting warmer, the snow is melting, and my winter boots & coats are slowly making their way into storage. I'd really love to have a whole new wardrobe to start off this new season with a bang. Beautiful clothes that won't be hidden by all those heavy dark winter layers.
Here's my current wish list for Spring.

A cute pastel mini dress with drop waist, a floral blazer, a bright pink bag, and kitten heel ankle strap shoes. What screams Spring more than this?

Red is a trendy color for Spring, as is cobalt blue. Pair them together with a neutral coloured bag and you're good to go.

Overalls, all the rage at this moment! Keep it cool and casual with backless booties, a polka dot blouse, and hip white cross body bag. Love this!
