I had the privilege of attending the 2 year anniversary of
Petit Lapin Patisserie. Petit Lapin is a bakery where they provide all food
lovers with delicious sweet treats that are allergen free, gluten free and
lactose free along with organic and vegan products. We also celebrated the launch of their Deluxe Cupcakes which is a merging of cupcake and donut in one single bite. Just delectable!
Viviane Nguyen, the founder of Petit Lapin, opened up this
bakery because of her undying love for her son who is allergic to many foods out there. After many numerous phone calls and bakery
visits, she could not find a cake that she can give her son for his very first
birthday. And what’s a first birthday without a good ol’ cake smash? So she
decided to take matters into her own hands. After extensive research and trial
and errors, she managed to bake her son his very first cake and he got to
experience it like every kid, all over his face.
She wanted other kids and adults to enjoy this same feeling
therefore she opened up Petit Lapin, a special, kid friendly and colorful place
where she serves classic sweet treats that are not only allergen free but also
as delicious or even better than traditional recipes. A first in Montreal!
