dare to go red

I had to attend a party on Saturday evening and finding a dress to fit my belly was quite a mission. I've gone this far without buying any maternity clothes, no way in hell was I going to start now with only 1 1/2 months to go in my second pregnancy.
So as always, Saturday morning last minute, I found a dress at H&M. Of course, like any other woman, the shoes in my closet were not good enough therefore I purchased a pair of shoes at Zara. The outfit consisted of your basic colors, black & white. To punch things up a tad I stepped out of my comfort zone and dared to wear red lipstick for the very first time EVER!! I'm usually a major smoky eye and nude lips kind of gal. After many times of looking at myself in the mirror and asking my poor hubby a numerous amount of times if he thought I looked weird...I got used to it and ended up falling in love with the whole look! I wonder if it's too much to wear during the day?

I unfortunately did not take any outfit pictures that evening, I know I know, what kind of blogger am I...the one that didn't want to carry around a huge camera bag.So here's a collage of what I wore. Cute and simple! Don't you just love those Zara shoes? I'd love to get them in every color combo.
