red hot

Is it the hair, the tattoos, both? I just love this!

I've mentioned it before and I will mention it again, if any of you want free shoes and I know you all do, submit your daily outfits on Shoeternity. The outfit that wins look of the week, gets a free pair of shoes from Bakers. You get dressed in the morning, you take a picture, and you post it on their website...doesn't get any easier than that.
The reason I'm writing to you all about this again, is that I won look of the week for a second time and these are the boots I chose. The reason behind opting for these:

1. They're burgundy and it's one of the hottest colours this season.
2. They're hot!
3. I love the mix of suede with patent.

I think a vanity is something that every girl dreams about. Your own personal space that doesn't involve nose hair trimmers, toe nail clippings, shaving cream left overs, and dirty towels flung all over it.
One day day!

shoes shoes and more shoes

Here's some shoe porn for you guys. Pictures of my favourite footwear from the S/S 12 runways. Would love for them to be a part of my closet but in the immortal words of Mick Jagger..."You can't always get what you want!"

what are you hiding?

I always associate turtlenecks to the good ol' high school days when they were used to cover up hickey's. Whenever I wear them I feel that people are wondering "what's she hiding under there". Now that I'm  older, turtlenecks are merely used to cover up flabby neck skin or double chins :)
Just kidding, I have none of the above...yet!

only great minds can afford a simple style

Sometimes it's not always about having an outfit that resembles an all-dressed pizza. Simple is best when showcasing one stand out piece, and in my case the piece is this gorgeous American Apparel clutch.
It's such a perfect carry-all and comes in a vast array of colours. I would love to get my hands on a metallic one.

you answered my prayer

A while back I posted how badly I wanted a toggle closure jacket like this one that Olivia Palermo is wearing. Leave it to Buffalo David Bitton to answer my prayers and come to the rescue.
In the mail last week, I received this gorgeous toggle closure jacket which is somewhat similar but the bonus...a fur trim on the hood. Faboosh!!! This will be my 'it' jacket of the season until of course it reaches below -10 degrees and then I gotta pull out my South Park 'Kenny McCormick' parka.
