Before I was left immobilized by this damn cold, which by the way I was told by my doctor that it would last about 3 weeks (2 more to go), Andrew and I decided to add some love to our kitchen by sprucing it up with a much needed backsplash. This project has been lingering in our minds for the past 2 years and we finally had the time to make it happen. 2 days of labor & laughter and $400 later, we cannot keep our eyes off it and love the outcome. We had such a great time doing it and cannot believe it took us this long to get it done. What a difference it makes!
I also added a photo of our dining room which still needs major decorating...curtains, dining room buffet table, paint, etc. Slowly but surely our house will have the modern classic look we are aiming for. I'm open to any suggestions.
